I decided to make my evo look nicer so I painted my valve cover and removed the crappy paint from my BBS wheels. Let me know what you think.

what'd you use to strip the wheels?? i like it

 

Aircraft Remover, I got it at AutoZone. You'll want a box rubber gloves too.

 

Is your fav. color blue?... - the digital camo is done perfectly .

How many layers of clear coat did you use and which brand?

 

the silver stripped valve cover was spot on.

 

Yes, I love black and blue, I stripped my wheels to pained them black with a blue lip and blue on the side spokes and inside, but once I saw the silver I liked it too much to paint it, plus they won't get messed up when I get new tires.

Dupli-color clear effects, it adds a slight metallic flake, 2 light coats. I didn't want too much of the metal specks to show. If I could do it over again I'd do a plain gloss clear, but I happy with how it turned out. Now I just need to do something with that manifold.
