Stock bumper

How much do they go for? Does it also include the bottom tray? When I had my little "accident" back in September, I cracked my lip, undertray, and I just realized I cracked the plastic fastener holding the wheel splash guards on the bumper, thus making a creeking noise when I turn left . Overall, the bumper is in pretty ****ty condition. I'd go aftermarket, but I really do not like the choices out for our car and I just wanted to keep a stock look.

Has anyone replaced theirs? What did a bodyshop charge for painting?

The splash guards are like $40-50. The lower lip is like $150-180. I know cause mine got ripped off too. I'm not sure about the undertray though, but if it costs mucho it better come with those plastic fasteners!

As for painting, the stock body parts come in random orders. Like they will make 100 black, when those sell out, 100 blue, when those sell out, 100 yellow etc. It cycles through, so if it happens to be on your color then you're in luck.

It happened to be white when I bought mine, so I had to repaint to blue... I don't remember how much the paint job was, I remember paying $150 to paint and mount the lip, mount the splash guard, straighten my IC mesh screen (got beat up by some branches), and fill the hole in the bumper made by the license plate mount.

Thanks guys, but I was morely asking how much the whole bumper assembly would be. I might just end up getting the lower lip for now, then replace the bumper later, but it definitely does need to be replaced sometime

Ah, I'm not sure about the bumper... it might be pretty steep considering it is an OE part. For the price you pay for the entire OE setup, it might be cheaper to go aftermarket, but since you don't like the choices look like you might just have to suck it up.

Hehe.

I remember someone posting that the whole bumper is roughly 500, but I've yet to hear that confirmed.

Wow, I might have to take you up on that. Do you plan on keeping it for a while, cause i'm just resettling with a new job right now. I'm guessing you bought an aftermarket bumper. Also, where do you live? Shipping could be a pain in the ***.

That is true. You wouldn't have to pay shipping from Mitsu, but the additional overhead might make up for it... maybe someone can get you the part numbers and you can look it up and get a quote? If it's in the service manual I'd look it up for you, but I think I checked before and it wasn't there. Although, at least you wouldn't have to pay for painting, which could very well be $$.

You would not happen to have the passanger side skirt in Silver too would you? I hit a branch on the road and it messed mine up. Let me know if you do and how much you want for it.

Thanks
