9005 & 9006 xeon replacement bulbs

im trying to get the info before my cuz does damage to him new evo RS.My cuz got his US evo RS.he went to best buy and bought the REDLINE 100W 9005 and 9006 lights.when we took the stock bulbs out they had a rating of 60W.i told him by putting the 100w bulbs he can melt the wire harness.so thats why im on here,i want to hear from u guys.remember its an Rs and it doesnt have the HID set up as the regular evo

he got a 04 EVO RS ? there here ? finally ****.. lemme no sorry don't no about the lights.

rs? this one flew under the radar... r u sure, does that mean i can now get me an evo for a bit under invoice? 26 or lower?

Sure he doesn't have a Lancer Ralliart?


He won't melt the harness. He may notice the headlights dimming a bit when the engine idles down, but it shouldn't be too pronounced.

im sorry guys its a lancer with the evo kit on it.i miss understood him the lights he said are from the evo 7 RS.no HIDS on them.but back to the original question.will the 100w bulbs melt the wire harness when the stock bulbs are originally 60W
