has anyone found a clean way to relocate a/c controls to that little cubby below them? cause that would open up room for Navigation as the centerpiece instead of head unit? please include suggestions on how to do this or even pictures of it done. i have yet to see anyone accomplish this relocation

the search feature works really well. Its actually easier than starting a new thread.

 

and the effort you spent typing that couldve answered my question, soooo back to where i was in the begining... ( btw the search feature aint exactly easy it brings up 4 million threads, some of which dont have anything to do with " moving a/c controls" )

 

search hvac... its been done but we have manual controls as opposed to electronic... I believe the controls will barely reach down there but you will have to recreate a face plate around the knobs. There are pictures somewhere on this forum...i'll try to find the link for you...

isnt there a factory option u can do where the a/c din is put in the bottom .. i saw it alot of JDM evolution's ... if i could just get the part numbers i would have dont that in a heart beat..
