Careful when installing new stereo!
I just got done installing my new JVC KD-LH300 deck. It took me a bit longer due to the fact I had to stop 10 minutes after starting to run to the emergency room. While trying to break loose a bolt to ground the HU, my hand slipped and the metal inside the dash sliced my finger down to the bone! Its about and inch and a half long right on top of my middle finger knuckle. OUCH!
I was still able to finish the install, with only one hand. I can post gruesome pics later if anyone wants to see
Moral? Wear gloves when working inside that dash area as the metal edges are damn sharp!

That sucks, hope your finger feels better, just think of it this way: You wont have to listen to the crappy, stock, stereo anymore.
