How to protect the CF wing from UV?

Hey guys. I'm in Puerto Rico, and I don't have a garage, so my Evo sits outside all the time. When I bought the car, the salesman mentioned that if I don't park in a garage, there is some kind of UV-protectant cream I should put on the spoiler every once in a while to keep it from yellowing in the sun. I've searched the forums and didn't find anything about it, so I looked online but still didn't find much. I did find this:

http://www.303products.com/main.php?infopage=protectant

Anyway, I just wanted to know if anyone has dealt with this (I know a lot of you guys are in CA, and there's lots of sun there too), and what product or treatment you guys recommend to protect the spoiler from UV discoloring. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

I use a uv protectant wax I picked up ar the local parts store made by Rain X. Just buy one that has a UV protectorant and you will be fine.

Ah, OK. I'll go with that. How often do you wax you cars, then? Does anyone do the wing any more often to prevent the yellowing issue? Just trying to get a feel for how this should be done. I've never owned a car with less than 100k miles before, so I've never really bothered washing them before. I'm gonna have to get into the habit Hehe for reference, here's my last car, which I bought for $500 and still own just because it's not worth selling it:

dealer= full of crap... waxing your car does not damage it. WTF was that dealership thinking...oh wait never mind...trying to stick you for more $

I try to wax at least once a month, 2 coats min.

Always have at least 3-4 coats of wax on the wing. I've recently joined the detailing fold and wash/wax at least once a week now.

Once a month would be fine, also.

I've had mine for almost two months and I already waxed it, thanks to the crap that my mitsu dealer put on my car. I think I'm gonna wax it again soon aswell as claybar the front of my car.

i think i need to wax my car more, esp on my wing. i've been using zaino, but i noticed today that the top of the carbon fiber wing looks kinda brownish/gold in the sun. the parts where the carbon fiber doesnt really recieve a lot of sunlight looks black/grey.
i think my wing recieved too much uv rays. anyone else have this color?
