Alignment Issues

So here's my story with the issue that I'm needing help on resolving.

Took the car to get an alignment, tech says alignment is good all set to stock specs, but when he takes it for a test drive and puts it back on the rack, the setting have changed. He notices that if he turns the steering wheel to the right and returns the wheels back to center that the specs are out of wack. But if he turns the wheel left and returns to center, it returns back to the stock specs.

So, while driving I do notice that If I take a left hand turn and go back to straight there is no pull in the car, it tracks straight forward. However, if I make a right hand turn and go back to straight it does pull to one side.

What would cause such a weird thing? Is the alignment not being done correctly? Does he have to adjust one side, drive it, then set the other side, and set then drive it and check the settings?

Completely lost, as to how setting can change just from turning the steering wheel.

Look at A-arm bushings. Especially the frt ones. I had similar issue on acceleration where it would toe out and then return when I let off--alignment showed good.

Check all the suspension bushings on the car, as well as the front strut mounts.

I agree with what the two guys above said. Something is shifting causing the alignment to change slightly.

Play in the suspension needs to be zero before an alignment can be done. So what you should have heard from the guy on the rack is, "There's play, I can't align it.", not the lame answer you got.
