One bad tire, replace one or all four???
I've heard that on our evos if you get one flat and need to replace one tire you should replace all four b/c having one tire with more traction than other tire caused the lsd or acd to work constantly. Thus, in the long run will end up breaking?
Is this true? Im in need of one new tire but not sure if I need to get all 4 new tires, It sucks b/c my tires only have about 2000 miles on them.
Let me know what you guys think.

Depends on the tread depth of the other tires. Read our article Matching Tires on Four-Wheel Drive And All-Wheel Drive Vehicles. It may help answer your question.

very helpful article neal, But how am I gonna be able to tell if my tread difference is too much?
And say I get a new tire and want to use ur tread match serive would I have to send all four tires or just the new one and one used one? around how much would this cost in total including shipping and stuff from zip code 11360. NY?
this is probably hard to answer but im going ask anyway
do you think that 2k miles of normal driving and 2 occassions of drifting in snowed empty parking lot for 30min would cause the tread on the tires to wear TOO much than a new one?

Quickest way to check your tread depth is by the Penny Test. We can shave the new tire for you if the existing tires are very worn. That service runs $25 per tire. We only shave new tires, not used ones.
The wear question is a hard one to answer. Its best if you check the depth to know for sure. If your drifting I would be more concerned about irregular tire wear (cupping, feathering etc) rather than even wear across the tires face. When in doubt, purchase a pair so they are both new on the same axel.
