I had cross-drilled rotors on my Talon for 30k miles and they never cracked. I think my bro has over 60k on his and they are not cracking at all.

They will warp and crack. Cross drilled are not recommended at all. Slotted would be a much better choice. If your not cracking cross drilled rotors, your not driving the car like it should be driven.

If your thinking you need cross drilled just for weight savings, you dont. The slotted 2pc replacement rotors are the same weight, maybe a fraction off. Its still displacing metal with the slots, they just happen to be ALOT more functional. The baer eradiispeeds as far as I know are the lightest 2pc. Girodisc, Racing Brake, DBA, Performance Friction all make good 2 piece rotors that are lighter then stock.

Do you consider "not driving the car like it should" as in not road racing?

Ive had drilled rotors on my last 3 cars, and each I put over 70k on and they have not cracked. Believe me, I defintely drive it like I stole it. Many 130mph+ hard stops and tons of city driving.

I have heard of drilled ones cracking however no one I know has had this ever happened. Maybe because we dont road race

Rotorpros You can get crossdrilled, slotted, dimpled or combinations for about $280 shipped for all four. Search them on Google.

I have the baer eradispeed plus front and back, 19lb savings over stock.

Call Geo at EvoStore.com he can give you a good price.

On a side note, we should meet up and do some pulls some day. I can bring a couple other fast stock turbo Evo's with me.
