"Street" Alignments
Hey guys I'm mounting up a set of Work Emotions (17x8) wrapped in Michelin PS2's (235/45/17). I'm wanting to get an alignment done.. I want something that is easy on tires but doesn't make the car handle like crap. I don't track/drag or do any sort of racing really.. just some hard street driving on occasion (lots of twisties around here).
As of right now I'm running stock suspension.. with plans of coilovers when I can decide on a set
I would be greatful for any help

All the negative camber you can get on the front adjustment. -1.0 deg rear camber.
Zero toe all around if you are comfortable with a twichy car, or take your pick of the stock range if you want more stability. The more toe in the rear, the more stable. Also, make sure they get the thrust angle as close to zero as possible. A car that crabs down the road will eat tires.
If you are a street corner carver the max front camber, I feel, will give you the best tire life. A few hard turns with out enough neg. camber will eat the outside of the tires a lot more than 100's of highway miles with -1.8 or so will eat the inside of the tires. Especially if your toe is set right.
Edit: stock specs are posted all over, searching will grant wisdom.

If you take your car to a good alightment shop (and you should) they will have the manufacturers specifications on hand for the evo.
....well at least the shops I go to. The one time I had my car checked they printed out the manufacturers suggested range settings, as well as my before and after numbers. If they dont do this, go to another shop I say.
If your looking for a good, all around setup, no need to hunt for a custom suspension setting, mitsu has already done the development for you. Just go to a reputable shop and tell them to align your car. Easy.
Now if you want a track setup, thats a different story.

Just as I suspected they aligned it for a ls oz-rally 15" wheel. I've got some nice vibration on my wheel at highway speeds which could be a balance. Here are the specs from my alightment.
LF
Caster 3.1x
Camber -0.1x
Toe 0.00x
RF
Caster 2.9x
Camber -0.2x
Toe -0.0x
LR
Camber -1.2x
Toe 0.10x
RR
Camber -1.2x
Toe 0.10x
Again I'm wanting something to make tires last even if I lose a lil performance.
