great...... so now that i'm out of fluid.... any one in MI SE area know where i can get SUPER BLUE? LOL.... i might be SOL on this thursday track event... unless i can get some fluid and either re-bleed the whole thing or there is this what looks like a TO-FAST - TO-FURIOUS shop on 15 mile and Crooks/Coolidge .... any one know about that if you live in MI....

Very curious how this works out since I'm about to do my brakes too - let us know if running the car while bleeding fixed it. Good luck!

I'll give it a shot.

Let me throw out some random thoughts.

1. Has your wife done this before? Did you give her explicit instructions? Have her walk through the procedure again, but this time, stand beside her and watch what she's doing. She would not be the first helper to make a mistake. I would really take a hard look at this one and be 300% certain she is not allowing air to come back into the system.

2. Did you not fully tighten all the bleeder nipples? Triple check all of them and look for any signs of fluid leaking out (i.e. look at the backside of your wheels). BTW, whenever doing work like this, it is a great idea to clean everything after you are done (i.e. shoot some brake cleaner on the bleed nipples and even the calipers). That way, you can easily see any leaks.

3. Did you do ANY other work/adjustments/part changes just before/during/after doing this brake bleed? Anything at all?????

Joe
