Need Reviews of LM22

I just got some stock Enkei's as winter wheels for my MR and now I need some tires. I've read the reviews on tirerack and online but I'd like to hear from some Evo owners who have used these tires. If you think another brand is a superior performance winter tire let me know. I've been using WS50 on my Subie FXT and they worked great for the heavy snow we can get here in Boston.

i live in jersey and these things are great. even in deeper snows they still perform great. theres nothing like breaking the backend out and having good control. they also have a better speed rating and arent that bad in the wet. just remember these arent advans, so dont expect it to be awsome in the dry. but deffinately worth it. i got them for $170 a tire mounted and balanced.

How's tread wear?

I'm not in an area where we get heavy snow - regularly.

We can, however, get dumped upon so I want to be prepared.

I have a set of "winter" rims that I want to put on soon, but I'm on the fence about what type of tire to get.

All season or snow?

The all season will handle much better in the dry, but may not perform too well in icy/snowy conditions.

I'm curious how the tire holds up if used regularly in dry condtions. It will only be used for the winter season so I'd like to get a few seasons out of them.

i also live in jersey, and ran the LM22' for the winter...then forgot to take them off for the summer and still peformed great. In the winter they were the best thing since sliced bread....great traction in snow or rain.....actually had better traction than my girlfriends truck...but she also doesnt know how to drive......treadwear is minimal...and i dont corner easy..in the summer they are a decent tire..the side wall isnt as strong as the advans so handling is as good....but they still do perform great compared to what some winters handle like out of weather...so i def. give them 2 thumbs up ;-)

Great tire. Very good in snow, still slippy on ice, but thats asking alot even for a snow tire. I'll be taking my second winter with the tires. I fully recommend it.

tread wear is ok but tire rack says that you have like 15,000 - 20,000 miles until the uni-cell snow tread shiznit wears off so its like 4-5 seasons depends on how much you drive in the winter. other than that a great tire and worth the couple extra bucks.
