2 spring/summers on advans, 17k miles i would say...
yes i baby her...
so now i need new tires for next season...
i like the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3.
Slightly cheaper then new ADVANS... still good though.
Any other personal favorites ?

Of the 3 tires I've ridden on, no street tire behaves like the A046 IMHO but I'd love to find one
I posted another thread about the Eagles and seems that most people that have them like them or hate them. I think that is mainly due to differing expectations about sidewall stiffness (where the stock advans shine). I have pirelli pzero nero m+s right now and it a really good tire but I just can't take the softer sidewall. so unfortuately its just one of those things that depends on the circumstances.
If I had to buy a tire right now, it'd probably be the KD or perhaps try my luck with the AD07. Don't cheap out on tires.

I suggest trying either Falken RT-615 or Toyo RA1 for the summer...
Those tires can double up as track tires as well, while I'm pretty sure the Goodyear Eagles won't hold up. Of course you'll run into problems running a track tire on the street if temperatures are low and the ride quality can be pretty bad...
I'm leaning towards buying the Falkens myself, it's simply cheaper and more streetable.

The latest C&D and I think European Car both have tire tests. Remarkably the Goodyear wins but it's NOT the best dry tire. It's wet performance is very, very good. IMHO, I'd try the PZero Corsas or the AD07's for a bit of wet weather ability. The Hankook's did very well except in breaking. The 615's look nice as well and had lots of lateral grip. The Corsas will outperform both in the dry.
