Stoptech Vs Endless (Endless Wins) 56k No no

I thought you guy's might find this very interesting.
Especially those track guy's out there.

Sources****
Car and Driver 11/2005 Edition
Cover car = Bugatti Veyron
pages 130 and 134

Hopefully that gets me out of any legal mumbo jumbo.

Ok so i was reading the article.

comparison
There was a Buschur Racing Evo equipped with Stoptech big brake kit, the car was 154 Lbs Lighter. Running 17 inch wheels. Yet from a 140 mph black to 0 Mph
Its stopping distance was 692 Feet.

There was also a hks Evo equipped with Endless Front and Rear Big brake kit. The Hks evo was 154 Lbs Heavier than the stoptech equipped car. Running 18 inch wheels. THE HKS CAR!!!!
its stopping distance was 567 Feet.

Now i may be mistaken but.... That right there is 125 Feet

Now 125 feet is a huge margin especially considering that the evo was running bfg's kdw's. Not only did i have nice tires it was also lighter. The hks evo had Neova's..

All in all even with the major setup advantage going to the stoptech car. The Endless car STOMPED on them HARD.

Below are pictures of it...

I wouldn't even begin to compare the Neova's to KDW's, meaning the Neova's are superior, a more fair comparo would be the Neova's to the KD's.... But besides that, did the Stoptech car have both F&R brakes or just fronts?? What pads were used on both cars??

Buschur has an RS evo, so no ABS. That was the reason for the difference

this is pointless as it is not a direct comparison, other factors are not equal so you can not say outright that endless beats the stoptech set up.

HKS is an RS as well

brake pads are listed

Stoptech used Pagid Orange front and the standard caliper with Axis pads rear, HKS used Endless CCR front and rear

All I can see is the text he wrote, if the brake pad types were listed in the pictures I can't see them on my work PC.

also what tire sizes, suspension setup, etc.

Lots of variables you need to include to make a judgement.

The HKS had 265 tires, what did the buschur one have?

How can you even compare these two? Tires , brake pads, and the rear brake setup are different.

Which Endless kit was it?

The cheapest Endless front kit costs more than a 4 wheel Stoptech setup....

Buschur was running 4-piston calipers up front, Stoptech, with stocks in the rear, that I think David got from somewhere else (if I remember his write-up correctly - I may be mistaken). Also, HKS has 6-pistons up front and 4 in the rear, all Endless. Bigger calipers as well. Its right there in the article. Too many variables.

One was in the wind and one had the wind at their back...

One was up hill and one was down...

One was on cold brakes and the other had warm brakes...

One had rubber brake lines and one had SS lines....

BLAH BLAH BLAH....

Buschur used DMS's, HKS used, I would imagine, HKS coils

tire sizes are not mentioned in the scans above, just brand
