possibly ur tires form a flat spot from the car sitting there and the tires being cold and hard. then the tire evens out after driving. btw, there r tons of threads about advans in cold/snowy weather, my advice - get snow or at least all season tire if u'r staying in NJ for the winter.

when i look at the information given here, and the symptoms of the occurences, i see only one possibility for the cause: Gremlins. don't question it, just pray.
