Best tire for an 18X9 +29 offset? help

Just bought some wheels and they are 18X9 with a +29mm offset. I was wondering because i cannot find anything that is solid information through the search button. I plan to lower my car temporarily with some hotchkis springs and want something that will look aggressive, and will not rub..

How about...
235/40/18 or

255/23/18 or finally

265/35/18

Which one of these will be best for my application, or if anyone has a few pics on a car of the bottom 2... Will the top tire look to skinny only being a 235?

Thanks in advance.

I have that exact size wheel, and I'm running 255/35/18 Goodyear F1's and they are remarkably forgiving for having so little sidewall. And quiet, too. If you want a ride that's only "slightly" more rickety than stock, go with a 40 series height on a goodyear. If you want the maximum cornering ability on a street tire, stick with the Yoko's.

My 2 cents!

245/40R18 is the best size, but 255 will do, 265 you'll have to roll fenders for sure !!

Thanks alot for the input guys, how hard is it to roll the fenders... i know you can rend a fender roller around here, but not sure if it is worth doing.

Does the end justify the means is what im saying..

I have that exact same size wheel, only with a +32 offset. Running coilovers, lowered 1.25 in in the front and 1 in the rear. 255/35/18 Bridgestone Potenza RE050As. No rubbing issues.

I'm trying to decide the same thing, either 255/35R18 or 245/40R18...there aren't as many 255s available compared to the 245s...

Not sure if you will have to roll the fenders with a 255/35 and dropped on springs (1.5" front & 1.0" rear)...

Maybe someone can chime in on which size is better...
