Any update on location and time slots?

Looks as if Robi is going to be fairly busy with this trip if the list holds.

Having gone through this last summer, I can tell you that the man works his tail off getting these suspensions in place, and this takes time.

It will be key to plan the time slots around work being done so that those of us that are driving from out of town are there on time and out on time so the next job can start on schedule, or Robi could be working until the birds start chirping the next morning (not that he hasn't done that before )

In the thread it's posted for April 7th and 8th (Saturday/Sunday). We should probably start nailing down times for install and on which days, so I can plan which night I'll need to stay in a hotel (driving from Omaha, Nebraska).

Y'all do realize that this is Easter weekend, right??? No big deal for me, but I doubt that a shop is going to let us work Easter Sunday...or maybe they are hardcore??

I think Mr. Fuller needs to wade in and get us specific dates, and then do triage on the installs listed so times can be roughed out.

8th is Easter. Can we do a few jobs at your house?

If I had a two car garage I'd actually say yes and we could all eat chocolate bunnies . Saturday the 7th works well for me. Currently it would be difficult for me to take off work during the week, but if it has to be Thursday/Friday the sooner I know the better so I can try to make arrangements. I very much want to see my suspension components go on.

The owner of the shop wants to offer you guys fluid changes while you're there. Motor oil with stock Mitsu filter, trans service as well as transfer case and rear dif service.
Tell me what you guys feel would be the right fluids for you. So far we're looking at Mobil-1 10w30, Diaqueen for transfer case, BG and Redline for trans and rear dif.

I'm coming up on transmission/transfer case/differential needing changing, but I would prefer the factory fluids on all of it, not just the transfer case...I've had really good luck with all factory fluids, so far.

How much for the shop time for the install? How much for the fluid changes?

Also, I believe the recommended oil is 10w-30 for the engine.

Let us know!

You're correct 10w30, the other fluids were recommended by Robi we don't want to get into ordering 8 different kinds of fluids here, and the owner wants to use the KISS method. What do you other guys run and do you trust Robi's recommendations? I do.

I changed drivetrain fluids a month ago and went with BG Synchroshift II in the transmission and DiaQueen fluids in transfer/rear diff.

I'll keep it really simple: I'll bring my own fluids, if the local stealer has all that I need. I can try BG in the transmission; that seems to be widely used with success. What do you think of it Ookami?...I know you have had some pretty cool weather in the big O in the last month. Overall feel?

Price for them draining/filling? Probably worth whatever since they will have a lift and disposal.

WhiteEvo05, I had BG Synchroshift I in the car before II and it seems to shift smoothly. I don't think you can go wrong with BG or sticking with stock fluids as long as you change them regularly. I plan on changing mine every 10,000 miles or even more frequently if I start doing more track days (like 8+ a year).

If you track the car, i'd recommend stock stuff in the tranny, esp the 6 spd.

theres a reason I still had 4th gear, when everyone else lost it (30 events on the car.)
