how long do stock tires last?

how long do stock tires last?

just wondering how long they last and what do you recomend after they are no good? planning on using it on street and a bit of track time

I got almost 16k out of them before i popped the right rear. Went to rt-615 in a 255 size and love them.

Depends on a lot of variables, none of which you have offered. What's your alignment settings? What is your applications? What are you tire pressures?

with regular driving those lasted 18K miles.

The stockers on my 03 8 lasted 10k. The ones on my IX only had 3k on them before i went with new tires and rims.Went with Bridgestone REO50A pole positions,245x40 18,s and love them.

Generically speaking:

With normal driving habits: 18-25k miles.
With a lot of aggressive driving: 10-15k miles.
With track days... it all depends.

I would say about 15k average. More if you take it easy, less if you play mr. donut in the parking lot.
