Day 3 of ownership I scuffed a wheel against a curb. I haven't scuffed a wheel for like 10 years and I do it to me new EVO.
It removed some paint near the edge.
Help--How can I get some touch up paint?

Not too excited--being too carefull. You know how when you try really hard to not drop something, you end up just about dropping it? I was that way with the EVO. I was trying to park it closer to a curb in the last stall at Taco Hell so no one would get close in terms of door dings. I feel like if I had just been myself, things would have worked out.
As far as touch up paint--I doubt the dealer has it for the wheels. I am sure they have APEX silver for the car, but probably not the color of the wheel. I am thinking about getting a local shop to do a color match or contacting ENKEI.

The Fix
Well, here's what I did to fix.
I used a dremel to debur/smooth the scratched area.
I was a pretty small area, so I made my own color match. I used testors model paint. Testor's silver was very close. I added a little black to darker it a shade.
It looks pretty good. It looks much better than it did before. You have to get pretty close to see where it is off.
Not perfect but it looks much better than it did before.

orry to hear that, I also scratched my rim the 3rd day I had the EVO. I took it to a wheel repair shop and fixed it for me for $50.00 Now, ther is no way you can tell that it was ever scratched.
