Its just the right amount of drop without giving the car that lowrider look. The spring rate has a slight increase. I am still waiting on my appt to get the car aligned so I haven't driven it but 3 miles since I installed the springs. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find a shop that can do caster/camber/toe laser alignments here... and when you do its crazy expensive.

Thanks! When we first looked for an Evo I passed this one up because of the color. I really wanted GG but then I noticed there where A LOT of them running around (kinda like blue scoobs). So we looked at the LY one and Mark gave me a hell of a good deal on it. 5 months later and I don't think I would of been happy with any other color. The color matches the in your face attitude of the Evo.

Got my suspension aligned last nite. Had the Swifts on my 06 SE since late Oct/ early Nov. Love the ride. The car feels a lot better after the alignment so I would get that done immediately. Next, whoever said that the Swifts absorb the big bumps better is crazy. I'll tell you the same thing I have told many. They get rid of the forever bounce in the stock spring setup, you know where the car moves up and down with every single irregularity in the road. So the ride is smoother now on roads and highways that are supposed to be smooth. On major bumpy roads, railroad crossings, expansion joints, you will without aq doubt feel those MORE!!! These springs have higher rates than stock and when they are compressed more, they will release more energy. So, in the best conditions they are better than stock, but in the worst conditons they are worse than stock. Its a trade -off. And as far as the handling being better, LOL, run the car at the track and then make that statement. The handling did not get any worse but saying its better without proof is silly. Response also remains unchanged. The ride-hight, I believe is perfect, I will post pictures up later. Peace out!

I have booked a trackday at Snetterton for next month and I will be taking a trip to the Nurburgring in July. I'll report back then, with pics and video!

Interesting comments about the ride quality. My MR doesn't have a "forever bounce" feeling with stock springs, so I wonder how the Swifts do with big/sharp bumps on an MR.

Getting ready to take the car and get it aligned. I'll post up the before and after specs. I am curious to see how close they can get the alignment to stock specs without any special bits.

Thanks for honest opinion.... It definately helps for me to decide whether to buy springs or not...

That was a review for a non-MR Evo. Since you have an MR, the ride quality with Swifts may be different than what he described.

Here are the before and after specs. I need to order some "cam bolts" for the front struts to get any more camber. They said they would adjust it for free when they arrive.

Also, they said the camber here is 1deg front and rear. I thought it was 2deg frt and 1deg rear???

They didnt turn your camber bolt. Theres two settings from what I understand, with the arrow towards the car or away. I think away gives -1.0 and towards gives -2.0 camber in the front ( Dont quote me, going off what I remember reading in another thread ). You dont need camber bolts however. Do a search on camber bolts, theres a way to get more out of the stock adjustable ones.

I watched them remove and flip the bolts. I had them set with the arrow facing toward the engine (in). These guys are very familiar with Evo's and any pretty much any performance car you can think of.
