Well, I will say that the bumpiness that I described is pretty much isolated to the first 2 to 3 inches of tread starting at side of the tired that was mounted towards the inside of the car (the part of the tread that would make the most contact with negative camber).
Hopefully I can find a decent alignment shop. I barely trust anyone around here to do anything, so unfortunately I don't have a "trusted" tech I can rely on. I'll just have to try someone and see how it goes.
Thanks again for everyones help

Car was set at -2.5 and zero toe....move the tires on the rims to put the worn portion to the out side (and get a rebalance out of it..lol) I'll be glad to check it in Chicago......
i had the cupping on my stock advans. The guy who did my alignment told me it was really odd wear and could be a poor balancing job. He told me to bump up the tire pressure a little. This did not help really and he was right when he told me once a wear pattern occurs on a tire it is almost impossible to get rid of.
Cupping can also be a sign of dampening being too much or too little (think worn out shocks on a pick up for instance). I am telling you as someone that balances tires daily, balance wear is rare and generally hard to diagnose.

Well, since it's basically a new car, I don't think it's a dampening issue... and you don' think it's a balancing issue, what else would you suggest? I did some research last night, it certainly appears to be cupping and maybe some feathering, but the cupping is really bad. Are we back to a Toe issue do you think?
Over/under Dampening is completely related to valving versus spring rate. It being a new car is totally irrelevant to your dampening rates being possibly insufficient to keep the tire on the ground properly and keep it from cupping.
