yet another 17x9 RPF1 question

I know for the 17x9 +35 RPF1 you need to run a 15mm spacer, more like 17-19mm spacer to be safe to clear the brakes in the front.

Im really weary to run such larger spacers+extended lugs. Anyone try out the 17x9 +22 RPF1 in the front? Any spacer (if at all) required to get these to fit, or is the hub/spoke spacing similar to that of the +35?

i was told that you only needed a 10mm spacer for the 17x9 +35, but found out the hard way and couldnt use my R comps this weekend becuase of this, it still wouldnt clear the calipers at 15mm, so i'm assuming to run it safely you need to run 20mm

You'll need to run a 20mm spacer for sure. I have the same set up.
