rotating advans

I'm getting ready to put my advans back on for the summer. I used them last year for 7k without rotating them.

My question is this: Should I simply move the rear to the front, and keep them on the same side that they were on before. Since the tires are off the rims I thought maybe I'd get a little more use if I switch sides as well.

In other word:
left-rear switch with left-front
right-rear switch with right-front

OR

left-rear switch with right-front
right-rear switch with left-front

switching sides is the best bet , since you already have them off it makes sense to do it. then with your next rotation you can just do the same side rotation

Yes, indeed switch sides. I did that every 5K miles with my stock Advans and got 18000 miles out of them before they needed replacement.

keep them on the same side and just rotate them front to back due to them rotating one direction already

I don't think you are quite understanding what we are talking about. The stock alignment settings on the Evo will premeturly wear the inside of each tire. If you want the most use out of the tires you need to dismount them and swap them to the other side of the car. Therefore putting the worn section on the outside of each tire.

Now I have a headache...
