i run the Kumho MX on stock wheels... 245/40/17, can't complain, they work great for me. and has been compared to the rt615 many times on the forums, so it is in the same class. but since he is riding on 17x9 wheels then yes he should get the Falken rt615 in 255/40/17 since u got that extra inch in width to work with it wont have that bulge look.
