Strut Life

I was watching my GF's ***** bounce around over some rough roads the other day and the question came to mind, how often am I going to have to replace these struts? My last two cars were lowered and ate struts for breakfast. The evo rides very similar to them. Right now its bumpy buy well dampened. In 10k miles am I going to be bouncing around in the EVO?

hmm i think we are going to need pics hahahha j/k. if your evo is stock height and you start going through struts i would image that is a warrenty issue.

Love to answer you question but still a little fuzzy...maybe a slo-mo video would shake something loose does it look like that?

I have already replaced one strut on my car (warrantee) because of bad strut internal bushings. It was a bad strut from the factory the dampening was still ok, dealer was fantastic

hey

in general, a the struts should last for a long time. my old celica all trac had 130k on it and the struts still worked great.

i would expect easily 60k, but totally depends on how you drive. this car also has a bit more compression stock, so it might reduce the life of the strut. when your girls ***** stop bouncing over the bumps, and the car rides like a stock wrx, it is time to change the struts.
