So who's going to be the first to buy a set and check brembo clearance for us?


For that price, I'm definitely interested in picking up a set this winter as long as inside clearance isn't an issue. Ill figure out external clearance once they're mounted

Not I! This is all research for my 2015 setup. I don't terribly like buying things 1 year in advance because of the the whole "Time Value of Money" thing and how the stock market is doing. But, if no one pulls the trigger by August-September of next year, I guess I will be the first one out of the gate.

The other thing I have to settle on is spring rate (for road course, not AutoX). I haven't done much research into that yet to warrant pulling the trigger. Currently, I am considering 12kg/mm front and back and going to stiffer sway bars if I need more roll resistance. 14kg/mm would be the max I would think I would need unless I ran some very aggressive aero.

With my current 18x11 +25 I have to run a 20mm spacer in the front for clearance with the spring/shock. For an 18x12 I'd need to be at -8 offset for the same clearance, so I'd have to run a 44mm spacer with these. Sounds iffy

I don't think either of those wheels will be an easy fit. It will take substantial body work to make either fit in the rear.

FilthyEvo verified that the ForgeStar F14 clear brembos up front without a spacer on the 18x10 +18. May be a little closer on something in the +25-30 range for the 11" wheels, but spacers will fix that.

Can you please take measurements of the clearance on the inside of your wheel well up front?

What is the OD of your coilover springs?

So, you are on 18x11 +25 with 20mm spacer up front with 285/30/18 BFG R1-S that have a section width of 290mm and tread width of 292mm. Actual measurements of your clearances would help move this forward.

My tires clear the back of the fender with the Perrin PSRS and Ciro plates. The only rub I noticed was on the side of the transmission case but I would not go full lock while on the track so that clearance does not concern me too much.

I won't be able to do that for a while. I don't have any race tires, and the car's not running, so I won't be racing any time in the near future. I've also never run the 18x11s with BFGs. They were from my Hoosier days. I had been running the BFGs on 18x10.5s.

I went through all 36 pages and NOT one person(Evo9) running 18x9+29 with 275/35, what else do I need to make this fit beside pull,roll, add neg camber and bolt relocate. thx

Minimal issues is an understatement brotha. You would really need to pull the rear and relocate the bumper bolts. Really depends on what look you want and your ride height though.

Front negative camber and they will wear the front fender liners a tad. You will also hit the frame rail on full lock.

I currently run 18x9 +30 with 265/35 and they do all of the above.

I'm running 18x9+29 with 265/35 for a while now have no sign of any contact with the frame rail only with the fender liner. I have maybe about 2" gap ride height up front and about 1" in the rear

Excuse me gents':

I snagged some 18x10 +25 wheels. I want to run a 285. is this a good match for that width wheel?

Also, is a 285 on 10" rim @ + 25 going to cause inboard issues IE trailing arm etc front or rear? The outside of the body work is taken care of. Not concerned with adding camber caster or other nonsense other than what a proper alignment would require.
