^You are going to have a hell of a time trying to fit those wheels under the body of your car assuming its a stock body. That low of an offset is not going to play nicely with your fenders...

Heres some perspective. I run a relatively aggressive set-up (275/40/17 +29)

My simple set-up required a roll, porta pwr pull, bumper bolt relocate, rear splash guard removal, Lower rear bumper cover adjusted outboard (No rub, stock camber, track ready)

Your +12 proposal w/the 285 is 1.2" further outboard

For those that run the Perrin PSRS do you go with the offset version, or regular?

Offset, it also helps fit bigger tires clearing the back of the fender well. Though as ASP has shown, its not absolutely needed.

With 265s, rears should work with a roll and some camber. Front may need a spacer to get clearance just right but that depends on fender roll and suspension.

Lets just say the amount of work to make it work, provided it doesn't crack/tear, will cost more than the price of your rims.

Very doable. I just ran your numbers on the calc. You will need the full rear treatment using stock camber (roll, pull, bumper bolt). Dont roll-in out of spec camber to make it work, but hey, thats just me

You will see some front fender issues possibly if you set the ride height low. May need the fender extender kit

Im currently running:

Volk CE28
F/18x10.5 +18 Has 10mm Ichiba hub-centric spacers as well.
R/18x9.5 +28
Yoko Advan a048 265 @ all four.

I just realized I last posted in this thread on Sep 5, 2008, 10:22 AM... Setup has not changed much besides body work and evodave fender mod.

Was trying to imitate the Cyber Evo at the time of purchase. I like the idea of promoting rotation and thought the added grip up front would also help w/under-steer.

Had to roll and pull the rears, plus some grinding...

Fronts have evodaves fender mod. Still have the liners in as I don't like the idea of sandblasting the inside of by fenders. Depending on how this works out I may have to pull them back out once at the track.

Rubs on full lock mostly. No problem normal driving or bumps etc. Rear does not rub at all. Front rubs on inside of the liner where the engine bay is. Also rubs on the side skirts. Have not tracked it yet so we shall see. Need to get some brake work done before she is track worthy again. I will have to investigate the PSRS from Perrin to see if I can get rubbing out of the equation on high load situations like track days.

Sans fender:

Hi mate, thanks for the tip. Im just afraid to roll because i dont want the dent on the rear panel caused by pulling, any tips for the dent not to happen.. Ive been doing fender rolling before but i noticed that our evo has a tendency to dent when rear fender panels are pulled.
