Question for the SoCal guys...

I'm located in Hawaii and I need a rim fixed. There's no one local company capable of fixing the type of rim (Volk RE30) that I have so I called Mackin Industries and they referred me to Tru Wheel (http://www.fixarim.com/) in L.A. I was wondering if any of you guys have used their services before. Good? Bad? Let me know guys.

Thanks in advance,
Jason

I would think if Mackin (Giant and maybe Exclusive distributor) said send it here then it's probably a place that wil do the job right. What I wonder though is it cost effective to ship from HI to california then ship back plus pay for repair?

i called them today and they said that i'd pay for shipping both ways and the repairs. i'm not sure what the shipping cost would be but they estimated the work to be less than $200 based on my description of what needs to be fixed. i'm sure that shipping won't be more than $600 so it should be worth it to send it to get fixed rather than buying a new rim or sending it back to volk(japan). i just wanted to see if any one has used their services before and if it was a good or bad experience.
