I biffed my right rear rim and thought I would have to get a new one. Fortunately I found a local, mobile wheel repair service that was able to make the rim look new again (total cost $125). Huge to www.repairmywheels.com ...

they come to your door and fix the wheels? did you watch them?

 

Yes they come to your house, work, etc. They don't remove the rim from the car or take the tire off (unless the rim is really bent)...And yes I watched how they fixed it, they matched the color, and then finished with a clear coat.

I am amazed how good the rim came out (nobody would know it was ever damaged). I have posted the pictures in the first post...

did they fill the dent up with a bondo type product?

 

On mine they did not use bondo, just blended the indentation...You really cannot notice with the eye....
