the average wheel theif has all the tools needed and actually with the tools that most of them have its faster to break the lug that the wheel lock is on rather than to unscrew a normal one so your not really slowing him down at all. the only theif you will stop is the petty high school kid. Anyone who has half a clue about what they are doing (90% of thieves) will still get them if they want them.

Don't waste your money on wheel locks just make sure you got good insurance if they get stollen get a quote from mitsu for new ones (550 a wheel) then go and get even better ones put on your car.

wheels locks are good... they're also easy to take off. just take a socket and hammer it in... broken wheel lock... wheel lock off, take wheel. but it's better than nothing cuz it will deter the undedicated ones.

5 wheel locks is a bad idea, wheel locks aren't as strong as lugs.

well, what i do is leave the key at home, and get towed (free mitsubishi service towing) if i have a flat or any other issues which require me to remove a wheel. i think the risk of getting my rims stolen, whether that be the enkeis or the bbs on the new MR, is not worth the time to have mitsubishi tow me to a dealership, and then replace the tire there (after getting my key).

Just my thoughts..
