brakes making a grinding noise

Hey, im new here. Everytime i brake theres a loud grinding noise coming from only my rear passenger side brakes. Could it be the rotors or the brake pads? Is it trapped brake dust or am i just out of brake pads? Thanks for any one who can help me answer my question. I've had my evo for over two years and never ran into a problem until now. =[ Hopefully i can get this problem fixed asap

I think no-one has replied because the Evo has rear disc brakes. All you need to do is look at the rotor and/or brake pad to distinguish what your problem may be. 2 yrs of ownership and no brake pad change, wow that is awsome. Most likely it is coming from the front, rear pads don't need to be changed as often as fronts as they do most of the work. Although, you describe the passenger rear so look there first. The easiest thing to do would be to make sure your rotors have no scoring, if not just buy some rear brake pads and replace them. As soon as you remove the pads you will know if they are the culprit or not. Look at your pads before you buy because it may save you some money. If you have any questions you are welcome to PM or email me, I'll help as much as I can. Late.

You can clearly tell if the rear rotors or brake pads need changing just by looking through the spokes of the wheel. If you not sure what your looking at then take it to a technician who can properly diagnose the issue.
