Just to be fair, if you are out to test snow tires.. you need to do stop tests.. If you make this into a race.. you are going to mess up the results because one of you might not be stock, or one of you might have better driving skill. Which isn't the point of this little test. Do 25,35,45 and 55 mph tests and measure from from the time the brakes are applied to the distance in feet.
Yes that was my plan to do the distance to a complete stop. Also a turning test to see who sticks the best on cornering, same speed same radius of turn to see who starts to slide. Then a fun little race just for kicks.
But right now it stopped snowing, was coming down hard. Hopefully it picks up again.

Wow! Lemmonhead, you're an idiot! Did your daddy start this company? Why do you have such an attitude towards Blizzaks? Did Blizzaks beat up your brother or something? Do you have some kind of vested interest in this company? You're taking this way too personal and I think you should relax a little bit.
Blizzaks aren't the best snow tires in my opinion, Vredesteins are! If you're so confident they are THE BEST snow tires out there, contact Neil from Tirerack and arrange to send a set to him. Or since you're in Missouri, drive to Indiana and test them on their closed course. Tirerack is very big on snow tires and I'm sure something could be arranged.....

Go to the UP, southern Ontario, northern New York, or northern Europe and look at the tires people choose. When it snows every day for 4-6 months, you can't afford crap tires. Most of those places, you'll find a lot of Blizzaks, WinterSports, Alpins, Nokians, and Hakkas... one might be led to believe they work in the snow.
