winter tires

I used these last year in the evo. they work extremely well. I just put them on again for this winter.
they are called heculest Avalanche winter tires.

Sorry dude, they may be great in the snow but they look like they would suck in the dry. Those big blocks, they must be noisy as all hell. I'll stick with my PA2's thanks.

If you look at blizzaks thread vs avalanche you will see a HUGE difference,
avalanche has way bigger threads which means way better for snow and traction.
as for using avalanche in dry or just wet, its not that noisy as you think.
i just bumped this thread because I was really impressed on the tires in snow.
i dont sell them or am any way affiliated with the company, I just think the tires are awesome!!!!!!!!!!!

i have wintersport m3s and they sweet in dry also. Blizzaks are amazing. If the tireracks nver heard of them I don't know how many people will be willing to run those on their precious evos...

I wonder if we will see folks running these up at SnoDrift this year?

I sorta doubt it. You will however see guys running Blizzaks and Hakkas.

I tell ya what, if anyone is in the missouri area here, when it snows lets have a snow traction competition. My avalanche vs your tires and let put these babies to the real test. Im in for it are you?
