Why do you need such long studs?

so you can run an aggressive offset without having staggered wheels (big spacers up front)

Sorry, but I am having a hard time getting some straight answers...

To install these on the front and back, can one just tap the old studs out and re-install teh new ones (without a press) ? I really don't want to remove the hubs....Thanks

There is a tool designed to pull wheel studs without using a BFH:

Noob question, do I have to buy a new hub/wheel bearing for the rear? It looks like I need to take the whole knuckle off and have it pressed out? I removed the axle nut and four rear bolts on the rear hub and it wouldn't come off. How did you guys install the rear extended studs?
