i highly doubt the rear would require it... have you noticed how little of brake dust appears on the rims compared to the front? i believe like 80% of your braking is done by the front because of the severe weight transfer when you brake.....

I installed them myself for this spring after doing about 8 or 10 track days without them last year. Last track day my brakes still got hot, but didn't cook quite as badly as they had in the past. I'm not sure you'd be able to tell the difference with AutoX, but on a road course they are worth it.

The install is a snap, follow the pictures in the kit. Two bolts to hold a bracket onto each lower control arm, two bolts to hold each guide onto a bracket.
