So i got the car back 2 days ago...everything felt good...untill i went to stop...it is sooo LOUD...i have hawk hps pads and i did not think they where gonna be this loud...its serioulsy unbearable. I've tried researching and i read alot about the stock shims getting transfered to my new pads but im not sure if that was done or not...could this be the main problem of why its so loud?
anyone else run hawk hps pads...are they loud?

they might squeal at slow stops for the first couple of weeks..you sure you didnt buy Hawk HP+ they are for racing and will eat your rotors alive...Could it be a DBA issue?
Did you put the shims with grease onto the pads?

im positive i got the hps...i know the hp+ are more of a track pad and thats why i went with hps.
I did read up alot on the shims and my friend put the pads in and i asked if he re-used the shims and he said he thought the new pads came with them...now i dont recall but i dont think the hawk hps came with any...correct?
The stock shims are still at his house so i might put them on and grease them up and hope for the best...its only been a couple days but its really bad sqeaking.
