will these hawk pads fit ?

Question will these hawk pads fit ?

i have a 03 VIII here are the part numbers

front : HB453F.585

rear : HB180F.560

Reason i ask is becouse my friend with a black VIII said he had to get thinner rotors becouse some ceramic pads he bought from auto zone off brand i beleive would not fit the rotor the pads i guess were to thick any help would be great

You could try going to hawkperformance.com and searching. These are HPS pads. The number after the decimal point is the thickness in inches -- 0.585 is about 15mm, just what you want. A lot of pads for sliding calipers are around 20mm. Opposed piston calipers are already pretty bulky so you have to give up some width somewhere.

That's exactly pads i installed in my IX Evo last Thursday and they work fine. I already tried them out at the track. Got a little brake fade towards the end of the day.

They should just go right in without any problems. Unless VIII and IX have different brake rotor thickness, which i drought it.

So you still good, just put them in.

What are you talking about? These are the right pads, stop whining. And you shouldn't be posting in the advanced forum.
