Adam,

With all the brands you are going to carry, are they goingto be for the US Lancer or for the EVO's??

Thanks, Victor

Victor - all the brands listed are brands we already carry. These are the top Japanese parts makers in Japan for the Evolution models. At present, we do not carry parts for the US spec Lancer as we currently know (non turbo), aside from some body kits and the standard intake/exhaust and coilovers.

All the parts we cater to are for the Evolution model ($G63).

BTW....I think we have met before...did you used to live in NY (white GVR4?) I am the guy that had the blue 99 25 RS with the Sti motor/tranny, as well as the green GVR4.

So what is available?

Here is what Tein kits are available right now:

Foe Evo 5 and 6

Tein HA with and without pillowball mounts. Spring rates are 12 kg/mm front,a nd 8 kg/mm rear. Excellent all aorund coilover, great for road use and track days. 15 way adjustable dampening (controls compression and rebound in one adjustment), and feature a twin piston shock design.

$1140.00 without pillowball mounts; Add the front and rear pillowball mounts for an additional $300.00. The front pillowball mounts allow you to make camber changes very quickly, the rear is a solid type mount (not adjustable for camber).

Tein RA (just one set available): The ultimate road/competition coilvoer. features thick 45mm pistons, 15 way dampening adjustment as well as adjustable lower spring perches (allowing you to lower rideheight while not affected the shock travel). Includes pillowball mounts front and rear. Spring rates are 12kg/mm front, 10 kg/mm rear. Priced at $1900 per set.

Tein Type HG: this is Tein's rally coilover. Spring rates are 6 kg/mm front adn rear, units are sold without upper mounts, but are available seperately. Priced at $2200.00 per set.

For the Evo 7, the following are available:

Tein HA: same specs as above, but spring rates are 9kg/mm front, 7 kg/mm rear. Includes front and rear pillowball mounts. $1450.00 per set.

Tein Type Flex: this is Tein's newest coilover for the Evo 7. Features 15 way dampening adjustment, adjsutable lower spring perches, twin tube shock design, as well as front adn rear pillowball mounts. In addition, the Flex is made to accept Tein's EDFC controller (optional) which permits dampening adjustments for front and rear (independantly) to be made from inside the car via a small tubro-timer sized control unit. The Type Flex is priced at $1650.00 per set, the EDFC option is an additional $375.00.
Quantities are VERy limited on the Flex's!!!

Tein Type RA: same specs as fond on the Evo 5-6 version, the RA is a more competition oriented setup, but can be used on the street as well (best for guys who do more frequent track days and want a beefier setup, as well as the benefits of the adjustable lower spring perches). Spring rates are 12 kg/mm front, 9 kg/mm rear, and front and rear pillowball mounts are included. Priced at $1900 per set.

Also available are 1 set of tein HG's for the Evo 7. Again, this is an offroad setup, although for the Evo, pillowball mounts are included in the package price. Spring rates are 6 kg/mm front and rear, and price is $2600 per set.

To order, just call us!!
