A non-evo shop is gonna soak you for 4 hours of labor.

Keep in mind you will still need an alignment afterwards.

If you haven't slammed your car or track the crap out of it the roll center isn't really needed.

I lowered mine about 1.5" up front and 1" rear. My car handles like a dream and its a track ****. No kit installed.

hmm well i have a friend that didnt have a rollcenter kit and he tracked his regularly and his front end would dip waaaay too low during hard cornering.... after he got it he said it helped alot and kicks himself again and again about how come he didnt get it before.

i just ordered the swift springs with some F&R sways and i just wanted to get everything right. even if it helps a little it still helps right?

thanks for your input.

Why not ask your friend to help you out and do it yourself?

You can save a grip of money if you pull the LCA off and take it to a place to press the ball joint out/in.

Again if you don't track your car you don't need it. For the last 5 years evos have been setting records without the RC kit.

Good R.C.A. read. He pretty much dropped a second off of his times just by installing the R.C.A. kit, 2-piece rotors and brake ducting. He FIRMLY believes that the R.C.A. kit played the biggest roll in this.

So, some people say you don't need it, but those who have it seem to regret not getting it sooner.

Just follow my link and do what he did, pull everything off and take the arm to the shop and reinstall everything yourself. Give them as little to charge you for as possible.

If you can do coilovers you can remove the LCA. Its just a simply matter of unbolting stuff. Then have a shop press the old parts out and the new parts in. Very easy job to remove the lower control arms.

I'm not saying the RCK doesn't work but for a guy lowered on springs and not tracking the car and not doing his own work he definately doesn't need it.

For the guys that track the **** out of their cars its probably worth the $150 investment.

Okay. I'll step out of this one.

Still think you should pull the lower control arm yourself.

Why not I wanna change out both bars so they would be upgraded at the same time. And besides I'm running springs I wanna reduce the body roll as much as possible. If I had coils with stuff spring rates I wouldn't need them as much.

You are putting money into the wrong parts. Get a set of quality coil overs and have a pro dial them in. Most of the fastest guys still have stock sway bars.
