Best set of coilovers?
So I was wondering what are the best in your guys opinion for street/track day appilications? I want to have some of the comfortability but I want the thing to handle like no other. I was thinking along the lines of Tein. But just thought I get some info on what you guys think. So bad good about whatever product would be appreciated. Thanks!

Definitely not true. I hate the softest setting on my coilovers, it makes my car ride too soft and I didn't buy an Evo for that. I have my setting set right in the middle and I would say that it takes the bumps much better than stock. On hardest setting it's too hard to the point where the car feels like it slamming every crack in the road.

Point and match anyone?
so gtworx seems like you know your stuff.
You should chime in a little more! I do occasionaly do drags but I still want the evo to fly through the corners like nothing at all

Andrew, when you going to come out with a hot set of coils like the racecomps you make for the STI!
I really like the zzyxx coilovers honestly. If I somehow come across some extra money, I would go Ohlins all the way.

The zzyzx coilovers seem great so far, and have gotten pretty positive reviews. Definitely quality stuff.
Another one not mentioned much around here that is available for EVO is AST Suspension. Made in the Netherlands, TONS of travel, great valving, great support. Popular with BMW guys and lately with Subarus. A little over 2k for single adjustable, 3k for double adjustable, and 3 ways with remote nitro canisters are available.

I think for you if you really wanted coilovers, I would go with the Bilstein PSS9's. Not super-expensive, but not cheap either. They'll last for a long time, be completely quiet, height and damping adjustable, are rebuildable in the US, and have some of the best ride quality of any coilover i've been on. Handling is of course great too....Bilstein knows how to work some valving magic.

BUT i think you would also really like the Bilstein strut/shock set-up with Swift springs. Either with Bilstein MR struts or new Bilstein HD dampers (which are out of stock everywhere for a while). This will be cheaper, but it's not adjustable for height or damping. Still awesome, and you don't have to mess with anything.
Good review here of the Bilstein HD + Swift spring set-up:

So if you really want a coilover, I think the PSS9's are the way to go, but you might be happy with a regular strut + spring set-up.
