Camber Plate squeak

I just installed a set of KWclub sport coilovers from Robispec and I can't be any happier. The thing is that there is an upleaseant squeak from the front units and Robert told me that for sure it is the camber plates because they are metal to metal with the car. What do you guys think about this? How could I solve this problem?

Which camber plates are you using?

If you are using the Ground Control camber plates, those suckers are known to be LOUD! ... and its due to their inherent design, so there is little to nothing you can do about those, unless you are willing to change camber plates..

If you have GC camber plate DO NOT UNBOLT WHILE THE CAR IS ON THE GROUND!!!

Because this design camber plate is on top of the strut tower (not under the strut tower like other designs) the car HAS to be supported on a jack or jack stand.

The GC plates are very good, they do need some high pressure grease to prevent from making noise. Remember the GC plates have camber and caster adjustment so there is alot more involoved than the regular camber plates.

go to a craft store and find some thin sheets of rubber. jack your car, pull the suspention, use the camber plates as a template on the rubber. make your cuts and place those peices on top of the camber plates before reinstalling them. leave extra material around the edges about 1/2 inch. that should make for some quite riding.

let us know how it goes.
