If you searched for a while why would you make a thread? There are tons of them on here with people raving about them. Buy them.

Why start a thread when you already have your answer in the OP.

Great tires.

+1 for Direzza Z1. They are wide for the size, very stiff belt and sidewall. I love them!

Both are great. My experience on the RE-01R are they drive like R-compound tires.

I'm waiting for the debut in the US of the RE-11

The Z1 is much faster and heat tolerant in autocross than the RE01rs.

Thanks man! It was trippy drving the car inside the building with my stockish autocross car. Cant' wait to fly in tomorrow to see the show.

I was just lucky to be the first to be successful on the Z1s.

I won the overall championship at SCCA ProSolo opener early this year on the new Z1 star specs. We then went on to win all the SCCA Div and National west coast events we entered in the STU class. By the national championships in Sept. almost all the fastest street tire class cars (140+ wear rating) were using Dunlops.

http://dunloptires.com/news/2008/pre...1StarSCCA.html

Over the last 4 years we have used multiple sets of the top street tires; stock advans, Falken 215s and 615s, Yok Neovas and Bridgestone RE01rs, and found the Z1s to work best for us on an Evo.
