Trouble will Ball Joint on Rear Trailing Arm
Hello all,
I am trying to remove my rear trailing arms in order to install the AMS Delrin Trailing Arm bushing and am having troubles removing either ball joint on the knuckle. I plan on reusing them, so I don't want to beat them up too much to remove them. Any recommendations? Thanks.
Dan

Go to an autoparts store and ask for a "sissor type ball joint removal tool"... you'll probably get a wierd look, but I know O'Reilly's and NAPA will know what you're talking about. Saves the boot too.... but even if you destroy the boot your Mitsu dealer can order one in and have it in about 3 days... $10-$20
I don't know what the game is but the dealer can get you just about any part overnight. They will give you a horrified look when you ask and then explain it will cost a little more. So what?
Dealers couldn't fix cars without this ability. They don't keep much inventory.
