I have a set in that size from my old 240 and they have 255 RT-615s on them. I tried to test fit them one time on my Evo and they hit the calipers up front... you'd probably need a 10mm spacer or so to get them to clear.

Rear would probably fit without too much trouble... mild roll would be needed at least, depending on how low the car is.

IMO, for RPF-1s in 17x9, +22 is a much better offset than +35. If a 10mm spacer clears the fronts, then they would have about the same offset up front as a +35 with the 20mm spacer needed to clear. The difference is that the rears won't look hugely sunken by comparison like with the +35.

thanx for the good info

i would imagine that +22 would fit up front i guess only +15rpf one fits no spacer up front

i guess i need more research on the setup

i do see many evo members with the +35 and spacer up front

but i dont want to do the spacers or extended studs or kits i just want to have a flush fit and the nice looking rpf with the lip

I just picked up a set of RPF1's in 17x8.5 +30, I know these will fit with no issues. Not sure about the 9" wide with a +22. Try posting in the sticky "wheel fitment guide" thread. Guys are usually very helpful there.

17x9 +22 will require some good fender work in the rear, but as long as your not super low the front should be fine.

The 255 tire would be a good fit cause any bigger would just make the fender work more extensive.

Shouldnt need too much work in the rear. Minor rolling or minor cutting.

I run 17x9 +22 Gramlights with 255s. Only rubbed in the rear with Swifts.

im running 17x8.5 Gramlights with +22 offset and they required some pretty extensive rolling in the rear along with the relocation of 2 bumper bolts.

WoW the 17x9 +22s hit the calipers?? i dont think you would need a 10mm spacer....

17x9 +22 = 5.82'' backspacing
17x9 +35 = 6.29'' backspacing

17x9.5 +38 = 6.65'' backspacing (which is why people run 20mm spacers to clear) to make up that .75''/ 19.05mm difference from the 17x8.5+30s????

we all know the 17x8 +35 = 5.82'' backspacing FITS no issues with caliper
as well as the 17x8.5 +30= 5.90'' backspacing FITS no issues with caliper

From what i know, the RPF1 faces (depth) are all the same on the 17x9 +45 and lower offsets..... the only thing that changes is the backspacing.

IT is late for me, but if this is true...shouldnt the 17x9'' +22 clear the brake calipers???
