RT615, Star Specs, or NT05.
Star specs were great when I used them last year. This year I'm trying the NT-05's to see if they can live up or beat the Dunlops.
If they do, getting them for $140 a piece (255/40/17) is going to be even sweeter!

NT-05 are the winners in my book...!
I personally haven't tried the Dunlops but from this past weekend all I can say is NT05 is the way to go...
I ran buttonwillow last month for the first time with the RT615 and put up a decent time in the 2.08range, nothing spectacular. I raced again this weekend in the Redline Time Attack with the NT05 and ran a 2.02.4 knocking 6 seconds off my best time and taking overall 1st in Rookie Class and placing 9th in Street AWD...
My friend on the other hand ran a his best ever of 1.57 on NT-01 r-comps at BW the same time I ran my 2.08. During the time attack though he ran a 1.58 on the Nitto NT-05's taking second place in Street AWD!!!! 1 whole second off his best time, but this time on street tires...!!!
The tires were so new in the market so I was weary of buying them but I'm totally glad I did...
These tires are FAST...!!!

Those tires will wear fast, but i'm sure you know that already, I hear great things about all 3, the rt615's have been around for awhile. Yet I would believe that the nittos and star specs would give you more grip, while the 615 would give your more mileage out of the tire. Personally I would run the nitto tire.
Just got my NT-05's (255/40/17) today.
Just a FYI for those interested in these as a STREET tire, they only come with tread depth of just over 6/32nd's. I didn't realize that until today. That was my fault, not paying attention to something like this. If I would have known that, I probably would have just paid a bit more for the star specs (which I had last year). I did however only pay $140 a piece here locally.
Pics vs worn Advan A032r (255/40/17) and Hankook z214 (245/40/17)

Gonna get them mounted today or tomorrow and post up a review later on this week!
