Well it is time for me to get some new tires...with so many options out there I'll narrowed my options down to 3.
1. Falken Rt615.
2. Dunlop Starspec.
3. And the new comer Nitto NT05.
With 300+ miles/week street drive. And also monthly Auto Cross. The size will be 255-40-17.
Lets hear ur opinions. C

If you drive in the wet frequently, I'd get the Z1*'s.
The NT05's look like they will wear down to 2 rings. The shoulder tread is not very deep. The Z1's have more channels for the water to evacuate.

em, It rain a lil here in Alabama. so....Im still doing research on either the Dunlop or the Nitto..I believe the Nitto is a lil cheaper. C
I have the dunlops, same size, same size wheel. I love them. Haven't had any issues in the rain and its been raining like hell lately, they even did well in the snow. I also picked up alot of time at auto-x with them over the completely bald stock advans.

NT-05 are the winners in my book...!
I personally haven't tried the Dunlops but from this past weekend all I can say is NT05 is the way to go...
I ran buttonwillow last month for the first time with the RT615 and put up a decent time in the 2.08range, nothing spectacular. I raced again this weekend in the Redline Time Attack with the NT05 and ran a 2.02.4 knocking 6 seconds off my best time and taking overall 1st in Rookie Class and placing 9th in Street AWD...
My friend on the other hand ran a his best ever of 1.57 on NT-01 r-comps at BW the same time I ran my 2.08. During the time attack though he ran a 1.58 on the Nitto NT-05's taking second place in Street AWD!!!! 1 whole second off his best time, but this time on street tires...!!!
The tires were so new in the market so I was weary of buying them but I'm totally glad I did...
These tires are FAST...!!!
