Braking like the EVO X

So I drove my buddies EVO X the other day. I like my IX way better but it was nice to drive regardless. Anyways, one thing i did like about it was the braking, Its alot different then the Evo 9's. For ppl who drove both, how can i get that? I like how the brakes are touchier and i felt i stopped quicker.

SS lines, pads with more bit, well-bleed system. By Evo brakes are very firm and contact happens right in the top of the pedal.

I was under the impression that the Evo X break distribution is also effected by the computer. I don't think you can bring that to the IX. It's part of the S-AWC

The VIII/IX/X brakes all should have a similar feel. You could have brake fluid that needs a fresh flush, glazed pads, improperly bedded pads and rotors, etc. that is causing your lack of feel.

I've driven both and noticed no difference.... but..... I did notice that the 9 RS has much touchier brakes. My 9 has a little bit of play right at the top maybe an inch but the two RS's I've been in do not have that play.

Personally I like having that little bit of give up top..... easier to transition when tooling around town.

For the record.... my 9 has been through many sets of rotors, various pads, SS lines, and multiple colors of fluids. Unless I've been hot lapping the pedal always feels the same.

I'd suggest both cars originally had the same braking ability.

maybe not I think the ASC working with the sport ABS system should give the X a bit better breaking, I'd assume.

It's hard to understand why people just don't fall in love with the X's Handling. My IX is fast as hell but somtimes it can feel squirly in turns, the (ACD reflash has made it worlds better) But the X just hugs them no matter what tires chirping and all.
