Remember the fronts are inverted (a good thing) so the shaft your seeing is not the actual damper shaft....that's inside their somewhere.

- Andrew...trying really hard not to make a joke about thick shafts with all the belgian beer i've had tonight.

Wow I was told 255/40-17 wouldn't fit on a car running this setup. I ended up ordering 245/45-17 but maybe next set I will try going wider.

I have an MR that comes with Bilstein suspension, Although, my car came with Works camber plates They make my struts make an aweful noise. I want to take them off. Do you guys recommend that? I eventually want to run with The Swift Spec R's. Great job btw.

How much camber do you want to run? If you don't need more than -2 then forget the camber plates.

-2 is great for daily driving with great handling. with zero toe, tire wear is fine.

you would need the original strut top mounts.

Thanks for all the great pics and info Ludikraut! I'm about to drop the ball and order the Bilsteins... I already have the Spec Rs. I'm also on a 18x9 but currently running a 255/35/18. So you had no issues with rubbing on a 265/35?

I wonder if it's worth the extra tire weight going a little wider with a 265 instead of the 255???

No issue with the front fender, even with the Perrin PSRS installed. My rear fenders are rolled. No issues rubbing on the spring front or rear.

Thanks, I'll probably rub in the rear since I'm not rolled.

You think you could fit the 265/35/18s without rolling the rear fenders?

If you don't want to roll the rear fenders, then I'd stick with 255's.
