coil over poll. Working Poll this time
ricardon if you want some real superquality coilovers your gonna need to come up with a bit more then 4k.. but you better be ready to tune for 543987654 hours
Ohlins does make awesome products, the only problem with them is, they make a street setup (similar to everything in the pole) that I have never heard of anyone using. Therefor you can't just claim ohlins is better then anything in the pole. On the other hand I have heard of people running the group N ohlins setup which is 4k-5k ish and they love the **** out of it. They also have pro rally shops tune it for them
I opted for zero2r's because it is what I have the most knowledge of therefor the most ability to use. It really comes down to your wallet and your knowledge of the system in my book
Just trying to shed my light onto the subject. Also just upgrading the rear sway bar without getting a front is stupid, you are unbalancing the car

Of those coilovers, Tein Flex, Super Street and JIC FLTA2 come in at or below $1700. Of those three, JIC FLTA2 is superior. Of all the coilovers on your list, Cusco Zero 2R is the best in my opinion.

I think the super ohlins setup is 10k or so isn't it? Yeah, your'e right who has that kind of money hehehe. Ohlins does have a tamac set that is supposed to be absolutely wicked, but i think the difference will not be all that great considering that the JIC's can be tuned and setup to my specs for 2k TOTAL. The only place i could find that knows Ohlins as well as RRE knows JIC's is about a 6 hour drive from my house. I dunno.
ummm, not to get off topic, but can anyone tell me why this is the highest quality pic i can upload?? ive seen better quality on here, but its capping it at 100k and i have to turn the quality all the way down to this.
hey guys, sorry to get off topic here but its something i need to understand and maybe you guys could answer it for me. im new with the whole "custom" coilover set up. like, ordering coilover spring to you needs. how would i know what to get if i havent driven a car with a finely tuned cusco zero2r setup, like the one i want? if someone could please fill me in to how to read between a stiff and a softer suspension, or something like that. thanks. sorry if its hard to understand.
Sorry, wrong again.
They customer service may be bad in general, and the FLT's may be too stiff in stock form, but Road Race engineering, who have a close relationship with JIC right down the street, have custom spring rates that make the car handle incredible. Ask ANYONE who knows about the coilovers tuned by John, instead of basing your conclusions on some random post.
The 2g that won the USCC road course, incidentally, was riding on JIC's tuned by John.
