BC is a very good coilover, custom spring rates free of charge as well as valving. 1 year warranty too! Let me know if you want further info

Next time I am out at PRP if you are there we can exchange rides and see the difference. I would like to know personally.

I'd love to hear more about how the Ohlins ride on the street, seriously considering these.

Chad,
I'd like to hear what your experience is with running high rates on non-revalved Ohlin's DFV's. I current run 12k Front and 16k Rear springs and I'd like to switch to the DFV's and run the same rates.

In your experience can the dampers damp that high of a spring rate effectively?

Also in your experience (using linear pots or seat of the pants) What is the HIGHEST spring rate you've ever run successfully in a revalved DFV?

Also what size tire/slick do you run your 1000# rates on? weight of vehicle?

My Ohlins R&T coilovers are just as good if not better ride than the stock MR suspension. I'm running a 10k/10k setup.

Have you ever tracked this setup? I'm looking at the 8k/10k setup with a TRE rear diff.

I've only had it out for AutoX a couple times so far. Seems to do well. I'm going to get my Rear Diff done as well. On street tires the car still understeers and the rear diff seems like the best option to solve that. I also have a set of wider wheels/tires coming as well.

I dont like going up more than say 250 lbs on a rate on these dampers... on the standard valving...

I typically feel if you think you need more than a certain spring rate (depending on the package the car has) you should go to a JRZ or similar double adjustable with remote res. where you can also change the canister pressures and have a wider range of adjustment..

there aren't alot of clients that I would say need that.

Our car that runs over 1000lbs springs weighs in the low 2700 lbs range with around 695hp crank hp on 93 octane...

Thanks to this thread, I have a box from H&R waiting outside my door for my Evo X. Hopefully I'll be as impressed as you are by these on the 8/9 platform, Chad.

I assume you're running 285's on a 10.5" wheel? Slicks or R comps?

I looked into the JRZ double adjustables and the Moton's, but honestly it was about twice as much as I could spend. ~ 6k I opted to take a small step in the right direction and got the DFV's. I suppose when I feel i've outgrown these I can always graduate. Thanks for the information. Greatly appreciated.

Now get me a BB turbocharger.
